The #Giants are in talks on a deal to hire #Chiefs QBs coach Mike Kafka as their OC, per @MikeGarafolo. The former NFL QB has been working with Andy Reid for the last several years and is considered an up-and-coming coach in the league. Big hire for Brian Daboll.

I was frustrated about this but I'm drifting towards being OK with it, assuming they make a good hire to replace him.
And I'm not talking about promoting from within. Get some outside perspective and someone who can actually help Mahomes with the mental side of his game. [Reply]

Pep Hamilton has been mostly in that Ernhart\Perkins offense. He would make himself a wise choice to ask for an interview to learn a new system and add to his resume. Doesn’t mean Reid would even have to consider it. Reid would have to make the right choice for a number of different reasons not just advancing someone’s career whether an internal or external hire. Just make the best choice for the Chiefs and PM. All that matters [Reply]
