Every time I watch an Eagles game I cant help but think Jawaan is getting absolutely fucked because Lane Johnson is writing a fucking book on lining up too deep and getting early starts. [Reply]

Yep Jawaan didn't make him throw his last two inexplicable picks... [Reply]
There's an idea out there that Taylor is only getting pre-snap penalties, but he's got 8 pre and 7 post-snap penalties. He has 15 accepted penalties and the next highest o-lineman in the NFL has 10. [Reply]

Taylor has not been flagged for illegal formation since the Bears game in week 3. [Reply]

Yeah but that forced him to completely redo how he lined up and started. If hes 6 inches back and leaving when Lane does how many holding penalties are avoided? He's a speed type tackle, when you limit his start how much does that hinder the rest of the rep? [Reply]
The NFL has ruined the man's career because of a horrible job announcing the Lions game. He's still being watched like a hawk and getting penalties for things others aren't at the same rate. [Reply]

I agree. Keep mahomes healthy. I still think if Chris Jones would have signed the extension, we'd have signed hopkins. [Reply]

All he has to do is stop getting false starts and stop committing holding penalties. Same expectations for him and everyone else. He's generally good when he's not getting flags. [Reply]

I watch every Eagles game. Lane Johnson gets off super early and lines up far behind the center's belt line. Worse than what Taylor does. Never gets flagged. [Reply]

I keep seeing Lane Johnson and other tackles do the exact same thing he was doing in the Lions game and not called. There are rules that Taylor has to play by that are different than the rest of the NFL lineman. [Reply]

They didn't have what they considered to be a starting tackle at either spot.
They could have dicked around and ended up making one or two really desperation moves for tackles later in FA/draft that were even worse from an investment/fit KC offense. Orlando was a plan B move when it turned out silver dude really didn't want to play with KC. No guarantees KC would get Donavon Smith. [Reply]

I think they also target Kelce for OPI to some extent. That OPI in the Packers' game was horrific. [Reply]
He had 10 penalties in the first 4 games (including 5 in week 2 when he had a clear target on his back), and 6 in the last 8 games. If he's keeping Mahomes upright and healthy, I would say that 6 in 8 weeks is acceptable. [Reply]
