With Chiefs tickets going on sale today, there is a lot of behind the curtain stuff around pricing so I'll shed some light on the subject to help people looking for tickets for a game or two this year. There is a first year price that's more than double your renewal price in subsequent years.
I'm in section 303 about halfway down or up (depending on whether you are glass half full or empty). But it shows me face value for both my two seats I renewed, and two seats I added. Per seat for the first few games looks like:
Ravens: $351 per ticket first year, $144 per ticket second year
Bengals: $293/ $120
Saints: $215/ $88
Bucs: $195/ $80
The rest I'm unsure yet as I'm on a payment plan and those won't be added to my account until those payments are made. [Reply]
My daughter just bought 6 seats for the Bengals game.....section 301, row 14......are these "nose bleed" seats? She says they are great seats but just wanted a second opinion. Thank you! [Reply]

I think something like that happened to Mr. Plow. But I don't recall that ever happening to my ticket prices. The only thing with mine is they have gone up a little every year. [Reply]

Visitor side about the 45-50 yard line and about 1/3 the way up in the section. I'd say those are great seats.
Frankly, I don't think there are really any bad seats. Or, at least 99% are good seats. I did once buy seats to a game that was right next to one of those supports and was surrounded by Broncos fans. So yeah, that was the only time I didn't like my seats. [Reply]

Last year was my first year, then I added two this year. So I paid first year price for two last year and then got those at renewal price, and then added two and am paying first year price for those this year.
Next year I'll have all four at the renewal price. [Reply]

Demand will be super high for that game, so we're striking while the iron is hot.
Correction. I guess I didn't jack them up too much. I had mine for $450 each. Just got on the STM presale, and saw that similar seats were going for $410 each from the Chiefs, so I lowered my price to match theirs. Technically, mine should probably be a bit lower, but I'm the first row considered "upper" upper, but I tend to match mine with the row in front of me, which are "lower" upper. :-) [Reply]

I have no patience when it comes to this kind of stuff. I feel like if I wait the tickets I want will be gone. I’m all about the middle section front row seats. [Reply]
Finally got my ticket - looks like I'll be seeing you all on Monday night, Oct. 7, when we play the Saints - Section 118, Row 14.
I'm looking forward to finding some of you all tailgating this year. Been 19 years since my last trip to Arrowhead and can't wait to see the new (to me) Hall of Fame and the other amenities they've added.
Now, just need to figure out what hotel to stay at. Airline tickets can wait until we're a bit closer. [Reply]
