The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
It’s a new season which means it’s a new QB’s turn to be the next to “challenge” Mahomes as the top QB.
2018 - Watson
2019 - Jackson
2020 - Herbert
2021 - Allen
2022 - Burrow
2023? It’s Lawrence’s turn to be discussion fodder to Mahomes’ greatness. [Reply]

Sure.
Bills had an under-the-radar great off-season.
- Drafted Kincaid, who is our Kelce
- Bolstered our o-line with OTorrence and McGovern.
- Got our All-Pro safety back from injury
- Got new toys for Allen, in Harty and Sherfield [Reply]

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills!
The Bills are OVER before they ever even were. They lost the most important TWO at ARROWHEAD, and that's all that matters. They're not even going to win their division, never mind the AFC.

Other than everything I said being factual, nobody was predicting they wouldn’t make the playoffs. This year is different though.
They will compete for three wild card spots with the Chargers, all three non AFC North winners, Titans (maybe), Jets, and Dolphins. 7 teams for three spots. The Bills are broken so it won’t be them. They still can’t move on from previous playoff losses. Probably why for three straight years their playoff performances have declined. Can’t handle the pressure. It’s going to culminate in a final collapse this season.
That said, I would rather they make the playoffs and take the next step, which for them and their trajectory is a wild card exit, to increase the likelihood of McDermott sticking around. I don’t want them firing him anytime soon. [Reply]
I think there are four teams with the ability to win the AFC this year. Chiefs, Bengals, Bills, Jets.
But at the same time, two of the divisions are just going to be unbelievably brutal. Like, I think the Bills are pound for pound a top 3 team in the NFL this year, but they may not even win their division with the Jets and Dolphins in it. The Bengals will probably win the north? But the Steelers are going to be stingy bastards this year, and if Lamar can stay healthy for one season in his freaking career, the Ravens will be irritating. [Reply]
