I like Stroud fine but no. Stroud's WR3 would be Allen's WR1. (Wait. Wasn't he literally just that?)
I've strongly maintained the following for years now (especially during the height of Burrow's ridiculous hype, which even infected this board) and don't see it changing for at least another year or 2.
1. Mahomes
-gap-
2. Allen
-gap-
3. everyone else [Reply]

Yep. The much improved run game with my biggest take from yesterday's game. The Colts, somewhat thwarted their passing game. But it was no problem, because they just ran the ball, and did it very well. [Reply]
Clayster isn't wrong, Houston is a threat. He has weapons and confidence. He isn't Mahomes, but I would rather face Buffalo than Houston and I think Allen is better than Stroud. [Reply]

Obviously we’ll see what the 49ers and Jets look like tomorrow.
Still feeling great about our chances.
The Cowboys looked damn impressive, especially their defense. [Reply]

Sounds a lot like young Mahomes. Y'all do remember that Mahomes had pretty low INT numbers, but a high percentage of interceptable balls. [Reply]

They will be a strong contender for the one seed, and they absolutely cannot have that. Houston would not be a fun place for us to play.
Why does that offense worry you more than any Bengals offense? The Bengals were pretty unreal with Higgins and Chase year 1 and 2. Mixon was good, perine was a weapon they kept the tight ends and Boyd very involved. They had two great receivers and a QB who was more than willing to let them go get it.
Stroud is good but holy shit were making a jump here. [Reply]
