Just binged the first 3 episodes, wasn’t expecting the show to be this entertaining, pleasantly surprised.

The casino at the bend on south Riverside isn't just double wide trailers anymore, it's a full-blown site. Jenks next to the river is fully developed. My favorite drive that connected Riverside to 121st street, beautiful trees, swamp, amazing ranches and houses, is all gone. It's all city now. :-)

Unreal.
I want to visit “The Outsiders” house I saw online there’s a whole museum there dedicated to the making of the movie.

A lot of well-written characters and it's surprisingly funny!

Same here. I turned to it in a "there's nothing else to watch" moment and ended up really liking it.

Should have been set in Kansas City like it was supposed to be. Stupid state refuses to give incentives to the production companies. Same reason Ozark is filmed in Georgia.

I haven't watched yet but I have a quick simple question for those who have:
Is it "over the top" and full of cliches or really good?

It's Sly so it's a little bit of both but very enjoyable.

It doesn't feel very "over the top," to me, bud. I like the writing, and the acting is pretty darn good. Has a nice mix of grittiness but some comedic moments, interesting plotline, etc.

Really like this show at this point.

I'm hesitant to start this because this screams DAD TV.

Is there actually intelligent writing and good acting or is it just action schlock with Law and Order level writing?
