at the half way point. What is remarkable to me is how consistent we are over the past 3 years through the first 8 games across the board. Each team has felt and looked very different on the field but the team numbers bear out that we are statically the same with only minor variations.Wild.

Just for shits and giggles

Kareem Hunt in 5 games:

111 Attempts
414 Yards
5 TDs
3.7 YPA
22 1st Downs

He will easily be 1,000 yard rusher at this pace and we haven't had a 1,000 yard rusher since Kareem did it in 2017 with 1,327 yards. I know bringing Pacheco back will slow that pace down but damn the idea he could get over a 1,000 yards in less than a full season worth of games is amazing.

What I love about Hunt joining us during the season is that he’s so fresh we can treat him like a workload back, like last game when he got 27 carries, because we don’t need him to be dominant the whole season, just until Pachecco comes back and then they can split the carries.

How about “Double Dragon” as a nickname for our Pachecco/Hunt combo backfield? Just putting it out there lol
