I love the sound from the plate. Even though this ump is a bit energetic, the capture of occasional conversation going on there is quite interesting.

The MLB app had a two month free trial of AppleTV pop for me earlier today and I saw the Royals were going to be on and jumped all over it. I get to actually watch very few games (though this will be the third this week in a rare occurrence), and I’m enjoying this broadcast so far.
