What a dreadful contract for the Royals. What were they thinking?

The Angels cut ties with Dozier, releasing him on June 2nd after that terrible showing for the Bees in AAA-ball.

The "good" news: the Royals can cut their losses with Dozier next year, with a 2025 $10M team option or $1M opt-out. That would be funny if they filed that paperwork incorrectly, and Dozier returns to KC. :-)
