After todays games, how do the teams stand?

Surprises:

Wins: Browns/Ravens, Eagles/Bengals (based upon score),
Chargers/Saints (based upon score and how Saints played
us), Bills/Seahawks (not sure a surprise, not a push),
Broncos/Panthers (based upon score even against a crappy team,
still the NFL)

Loses: ??

Push: Texans/Colts

DILLIGAF'S: Patriots/Jets, Dolphins/Cardinals

Expected: Lions/Titians

I am not nearly as educated as a lot of people on CP. I look at the scores and see what jumps out at me every week.

These were my thoughts. It would be nice to see this review (condensed not ad nauseum per team) every week so a layman like me can follow.

The broncos are currently the fifth seed in the AFC and the Chargers are the seventh seed. It's like a peasant rebellion is going on down there in the middle of the pack.

We haven't faced a divisional opponent in the playoffs since that ill fated day against Denver in 1997.

Mahomes has faced every AFC team in the playoffs already, except for divisional opponents and the Jets.

All eyes on the Texans IMO

Remaining Games:

Jets
Lions
Cowboys
Titans
Jags
Dolphins
Chiefs
Ravens
Titans

I think there are probably 3 losses there for them. 12-5

Bills Remaining Games

Dolphins
Colts
Chiefs
49ers
Rams
Lions
Pats
Jets
Pats

Not easy, hopefulling 3 more loses getting them to 11-6

Ravens remaining Schedule

Broncos
Bengals
Steelers
Chargers
Eagles
Giants
Steelers
Texans
Ravens

They are dropping at least 2 more, so 12-5

The problem for the Chiefs is the NFL bullshit of 3 games in 10 days, sore specifically that the Browns, Texans, and Steelers are all going to be tough physical matchups. If we can take care of business up to that point we can manage the health of the players. Can't believe how shitty this part of the schedule is

Those are your division winners.

The rest of the AFC South and East are completely worthless.

As crazy as it sounds, Wild Card is shaping up to be

Steelers/Ravens
Chargers
Broncos

Maybe the Dolphins or Bengals squeeze in a last desperate push to sneak in as the 7th.
Broncos Benglas game is gonna decide who gets the wildcard spot lol

I'd love for us to start 13-0 and then rest starters for at least one of those three games during that bullshit stretch. Give the NFL a big middle finger for scheduling us like that. Imagine the outcry.

Well they are a significantly different team without Collins and now Diggs is also hurt.

I'd seriously consider it.

Let Wentz start. Rest or severely limit Jones, Bolton, Kelce, ect.

You play through that stretch you have 11 days until a meaningless final gave vs the Broncos. Then if you have a buy you have another 2 weeks. Thats just too much time to get rusty. Horrible idea by the NFL.

Anyone else remember all the talk about the AFC West being a really weak divison? Right now it's the strongest division in the conference.

My point in the OP was were you surprised by any outcomes on Sunday? It seems no one was surprised of a win or lose or the score of the games.

It wasn't meant for which wild care or division winners. Of course we can't say per se at this point in the season, but have pretty good guesses.

What surprised you on Sunday....

I REALLY want Houston to get the 4 seed.

I may wind up eating these words but I just don’t think they’re ready to come into Arrowhead and win in January.

Baltimore or Buffalo on the right day could get us.

I would prefer only having to play one of them and not having to do it until the AFCCG.

It’d be hilarious to do it against the Steelers and ruin the NFL’s big Christmas special.

Netflix’s CEO might personally murder Roger Goodell if that wound up happening.

Would be ideal. Plus, we might play Pittsburgh in the playoffs and Andy would draw up a vanilla game plan with that in mind.

Also, Wanya doesn't enjoy playing on Christmas and T.J. Watt is even better than Crosby, let alone Koonce. Let Carson Wentz deal with that. Maybe we'll get lucky and Watt will have his annual injury by then.

For any of that to happen, they probably have to win out before then, including the Buffalo game.

The Cleveland game looks tougher with Winston instead of Watson. The latter will either throw for 300 yards or have a horrendous game full of INTs. Or both in the same game. He's too unpredictable.
