The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.

Good news is we shut Jackson down once already and Sony Michele can’t catch a pass for Cheatriot.
I just don't think our Linebackers and Safeties are very good at recognizing RB's going out for screens and swing routes. Maybe they are just too worried about getting killed by the running game.
Hitchen and Sorenson are pretty bad in coverage, Mathieu seems too short to handle TEs.
Next year we need to strengthen our linebacking corp. [Reply]
They did good but once again I need to see some consistency before I get too excited. Far too often this season they have had a good game then sucked badly the next. Plus, Rivers is probably one of the worst QBs in the NFL this season. That said great game by Frank Clark and run D was solid.
We will see how they do against the Raiders. [Reply]
I told you Spags was good juju. It's not his fault that lil' veachy let Uncle Pete bend him the fuck right over on the Fidgity Frank deal( and fuck your 2 games out of 11; don't EVEN bring that stupid shit to my door ). [Reply]

Frank is going to be shitting fire with a bye week to rest up and get even healthier.
I fear our LB’s will be our downfall. Hard not to give Spags credit bc this year looks like an improvement over last year, but he needs another offseason to get some LB’s.

That position is killing us
Yup.
Not enough speed and they get exposed in coverage. The run fits have improved, but good offenses will get favourable matchups against this bunch.
Not suggesting he’s an answer, but how could O’Daniel be any worse than Niemann in coverage? I thought his arrow was pointing up heading into the season, but obviously the coaches see something lacking in his game that he is not getting utilized. [Reply]
Plenty of responses to this claiming KC's defense hasn't improved drastically from last year.
My response is this: DVOA, EPA/play, yds/play, yds/drive, and pts/drive don't care about your feelings and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. https://t.co/blFNPABKsY
