Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Also mad props for Darrell on this play. Dude makes an excellent block
Wut. Mahomes flat foots this field throw to Hill. No hitch into a fifty yard throw? Stupid arm talent.
Also, the ref waiting for Tyreek to signal touchdown then slowly raising his arms kills me. Wish they would've had a stare off. pic.twitter.com/MXTMi5PHVM

Yeah. There’s a few bad things that could happen and zero good things.
1. Possible injury if he doesn’t stick the landing right
2. Penalty at a key moment
3. Retaliation from a pissed off defender. Sure they might also get a penalty, but we might sustain an avoidable injury. [Reply]

I think that throw was farther than 50 yards. He threw it from our 40 yard line, to their 10 yard line, which is 50 yards, but Mahomes launched that ball from the left hash marks, to outside the numbers on the right side of the field, just a couple of yards from the boundary line.
So, I think the throw was probably closer to 60 than it was to 50.

Nothing about him jumped off the screen from his college tape or his NFL Combine performance.
I can't stand Brady, but I have to say that I don't think I have ever seen a QB go from being unremarkable and definitely untalented, to being extremely skilled and the engine making a prolific offense run.
Whatever training methods, and mental drills he underwent to become the Tom Brady that most consider the GOAT, must have been magical.
It reminds me of Tony Gonzalez going from leading the league in drops, and looking like a possible bust, to catching everything that was anywhere near him and becoming the greatest Tight End in NFL history.

4. Could drop the ball and something weird happens like it goes out of bounds or something.. [Reply]

I hate Brady too, but he made himself great. You have to respect that. [Reply]
