I've never had a pre packaged marsala I would say I could eat twice. Just doesn't compare to actually making a marsala with the wine, sherry and fresh mushrooms to me.

I agree, if I'm going to make a nice dish as chicken Marsala, take the time to make it yourself. It's very simple with minimal effort.
