Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

That's his thing. He makes videos mocking players, acting like they suck. He has made videos of Mahomes before.

If he stays healthy, could end up with over 20 games like that in the long run. It’s a cool stat, but I think the most impressive stuff is the 3rd and Long conversion rate compared to all the other big name QB’s. It was something absurd like 6% combined conversion rate for all the top name guys (Wilson, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Jackson) and Patrick is converting 36% by himself. Just ridiculous, haha [Reply]

Patrick is ABSURD. Which might be the best descriptor for Patrick Mahomes II. He's literally taken every truism about playing the position of QB that he's not supposed to do, like throwing downfield from zero platform, throwing across his body, throwing back across the grain of the defense, et cetera and so on, and not only gotten away with all of it, but made them his strengths.
No QB I've ever seen has violated the 'rules of football' so often and with such incredible results as Mahomes. It's why I keep comparing him to Barry, because Sanders did the same exact thing. Everything that RBs were taught not to do, Barry did all the time and didn't just get away with it, he reveled in doing so, and set NFL records in the process.
Here’s that insane 3rd and Long stat. This is where you can really see the difference in Patrick compared to the other guys. Regular stats don’t paint a fair portrait.
Chiefs third drive of the game after TB Punt (TB to AB incompletion) Notice the angle of Mahomes initial set. He's manipulating the FS hard only to come off and re-set throwing the fade with quick release & arm strength. Hill runs an out and up to give Mahomes time to manipulate pic.twitter.com/taG8p5tRZa
Andy Reid play call sequencing. Drive after Mahomes threw a deep cross to Hill ( 4 verts vs SS roll into box post snap) Reid predicts two deep vs 10 pers & has Kelce run a 12 yard curl from slot opposite of Hill (who Bucs bracket) Mahomes eye manipulation & anticipation is elite pic.twitter.com/oKjyWFBopE
