Congrats, after 4 years of screaming he's old and done, you guys finally nailed it.
:-)
Thing is, they are still 7-2 and while they have played poorly the last two weeks - all I can say is most teams have a spot where they look bad. Hell, the Bengals lost at home to Houston. Lots of home teams lost this weekend and again, the Broncos have a solid defense. Mock Shaq and others all you like, all they can do is focus and play like they've been playing the majority of the season.
Is Brock going to step in and put this thing back on the path to greatness @ Chicago? Maybe not, but he gives the offense a different look. Is it a Manning of 2012 or 2013 look? No.
Few QBs can do that, Brock needs to run Kubiak's offense - get the play action and bootlegs moving and see how that opens up the ground game. It remains to be seen whether or not he simply sucks, but there are a lot of weapons to help him out. And again, that defense is pretty solid.
2015 isn't unfolding as I'd hope, but it could be worse. Denver is in a good position right now with the divisional lead and the lead over the AFC South, that gives them a nice cushion regarding that 3 seed.
The Broncos still control their own destiny at this point, and if Houston can beat up on Cincy like that in Cincy... maybe Brock and Denver have better shot vs them in Denver than originally thought.
Crazy things happen in this league... but, congrats again on the prognostication (4 years in a row) about a now 39 year old QB finally accepting Father Time's fate.

At least Denver has a plan to move in a young guy after the old guy gets....old.
They shouldn't expect anything more than what the rest of the league gets out of their backup, though.
