All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

Yeah, Bad Monkey and Night Agent are my current streaming rotation (depending on mood) and it's good.
Just too many talented people involved in it for it to not be good. Bill Lawrence and Vince Vaughn are just powerhouses.
And man...Rosa...that is a very nice lookin' woman right there. Sadly, no gratuitous nudity. [Reply]
Do yourself a favor if you haven't already and put Lioness in your queue. Another Taylor Sheridan creation with two seasons available. The first season was pretty solid and enjoyable, it pulled me into the story quickly; the second season was absolutely amazing, brutal, and very binge-worthy. I love the story told of behind the scenes look at government thought processes and decisions to go along with the stories of the operators forced to make the decisions reality. A+ cast, too - Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Jill Wagner, Genesis Rodriguez, and Laysla de Oliviara. And they all nail their roles.
I watched the first season of Lioness. I thought it was decent enough. I'll get to the second season pretty quick.
Maybe I wasn't paying attention but I missed/got lost on some of the grey ops guys and why everybody was pissed off all the time. I dunno that part missed the mark.
Spoiler!
I will say, after she murders the old guy over some gelato, there is less than no chance all those dudes pumping AKs at her don't hit her. They were backlit with flood lights, she was wearing a white tshirt, and there were like 20 of them at like 20 yards, some of it from high ground. I have no tactical experience and I'm fairly confident I could have wasted her.
Then 6 gray ops dudes roll in with with nightvision and similar weapons, no cover and smoked those fools in like 9 seconds.

Those fuckheads were worse than storm troopers.

Yep, that was the cringe moment for sure, lol. Thought I had turned on an old episode of the A-Team for a minute, haha.
I thought the attitude of the QRF grays is that they're just burned out war junkies that can't quit the fight, at least that's how I compartmentalized it. [Reply]

It's gotten awfully difficult for me, as I've gotten older and crankier, to separate a performer from his/her politics. Especially when they're super loud about rubbing them in my face.
Zoe Saldana and this fucking bizarre Emilia Perez bullshit is just...gone. I'm out on her for awhile.
Seriously -- what the fuck even is this?
And then the tranny that plays the lead (who is a murdering sociopath who is 'redeemed' by having a sex-change) has {gasp} opinions on social media and we get the standard wailing hollywood bullshit about...well all the usual wailing hollywood bullshit stuff.
Nope. Like Saldana. Will probably like her again someday.

Completely forgot about that movie and her role in it, lol. Her portrayal in that movie is about 180 degrees from what she does in Lioness, but I get it. That movie was from the depths of woke Hollywood's fever dreams, and I can't believe an entire studio thought it would be a good idea to create, much less a profitable venture...
And to be fair, Lioness has a good deal of girl power elements in it as well, but it's not distracting from the story being told to get the woke message included, imo. There is a very butch woman on the team (Jill Wagner), actually two and a bi-curious woman now that I think about it, but again, the casting and the storytelling just works. For me, anyway. [Reply]
I’m watching silo finally after seeing it here. Second season where she meets solo is where I’m at. Really enjoying it so far, lots of storylines and how depressing it would be to live in that environment and what she must’ve thought when she got over that hill and looked around. Yikes. [Reply]

She is quite attractive...
This dumb paparazzi dude on TMZ was trying to hit on her and suck up to her ability to speak Spanish, she completely shut him down and didn't give him the time of day it was hilarious, that made me want her even more. [Reply]
