The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
Bengals and Texans will be our primary competition next year. Burrow has one more year to try to push through before the cap changes happen and the Texans will have so much money to play with this Spring [Reply]

And Buffalo and Cincy are getting worse. Baltimore, Miami, who cares.
Stroud in Houston has 4 years left on the cheap rookie contract, and I would guess his extension in 2026 will be backloaded as much as possible. So maybe 6-7 years of pretty low cap hits. I think that makes Houston a potential challenger.
Jim Harbaugh will make sure the Chargers have a better defense and stronger run game to make the job as easy as possible on Justin Herbert. This team will be a lot better than they were with Brandon Staley. [Reply]

Peyton Manning in the Playoffs:
2006 ring: 70/158 passer rating with 3 TD and 7 INT in the playoffs
2015 ring: 75/158 passer rating with 2 TD and 1 INT in the playoffs
P-Manning Playoff career: 87/158 passer rating with 40 TD and 25 INT
Meanwhile...
Mahomes Playoff career: 106/158 passer rating with 41 TD and 8 INT
Josh Allen Playoff career: 100/158 passer rating with 21 TD and 4 INT
This does not even factor in the rushing ability of both Mahomes & Josh Allen. Patrick was responsible for 50% of the Chiefs rushing yards in the Super Bowl the other day, including those huge runs on 4th down and 3rd down in the game-winning drive. Many other playoff games where Patrick's legs were a big part of helping the Chiefs offense. Josh Allen's legs are a major part of Buffalo's rushing attack through the years. Peyton Manning was a total statue compared to those 2 guys.
Manning played against real competition, Josh was putting big numbers against mid playoff teams, look at the qbs he beat [Reply]
