Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

ESPN QBR
1. Mahomes at 85.4
2. Rodgers at 83.5
3. Wilson at 82.6
Passer rating
1. Wilson at 120.7
2. Mahomes at 115.0
3. Rodgers at 113.0
He's also currently #2 in passing yards, #2 in passing TDs, and #1 for fewest INTs. Those stats are amazing considering his numbers in the Buffalo game as well as the Denver game. He would be the front runner for another MVP if not for the lights out season Wilson is currently having. [Reply]

Yep, for PM to win MVP, Russ is going to have to fall off a cliff for a ~2-3 game stretch, and I don't see that happening.
In addition to RW's amazing year, he also has the momentum because he hasn't won it yet, and amongst other fanbases, they are getting little tired of hearing about Mahomes 24/7. [Reply]

Seattle's shit defense helps because Russ needs to be cooking at all times. The fact that KC is a better team hurts Mahomes for stats. [Reply]

Russ basically has the 2018 Chiefs defense [Reply]

No, I think the Seattle defense is actually improving as the season goes along. They looked pretty solid against the Niners. They do have Pete Carroll coaching them. That's a big advantage over Bob Sutton. [Reply]
I'm trying to understand the angle on this knucklehead response below. He's a K-State fan. If he's a Chiefs fan, I don't understand his problem with Kissel's Tweet.

I've got Mahomes at 5-1 to win MVP (made about week 4). Really need Russ to tank. [Reply]

It's gonna require a pretty serious tanking situation. Last year Russ finished the season with about 2x the number of TD's that he had through 7 games. If that happens this year, it's 52 TD's. For him to not win MVP, it means he needs to throw a bunch of INT's that cost his team a bunch of games (similar to the Arizona loss). But Russ has a pretty soft looking schedule in December. 4 straight games against some of the worst teams in the league. [Reply]
