Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

And if half of those penalized bombs hadn't been flagged this season, his average probably would be right back up there around 9yds/att.
I was gonna say... the refs keep taking away the deep completions or hes right there at 9 again. [Reply]
I saw a clip of Nick Wright, and he said that he has been told by sources within the team, that Mahomes may not play against the Jets, or only play a limited amount of snaps, in an effort to let him recover from the hits he took against the Broncos. Nick said that Henne could even get the start.

Did anyone else see or hear anything about this?

He was probably being sarcastic or joking. [Reply]
Nick was kinda going after Jennings and Wilds (sp? I'm too lazy to look it up) but he sounded pretty sincere when he said it. It didn't sound like a shtick.
But I agree, limited snaps, or a couple of series, sure, but a whole game? If I was a Jets player, and I heard the opposing team's starting QB could sit out just because we suck, I would be pretty motivated to play well.
My heart says that I want to watch Mahomes throw 6 TD passes, but my brain says if we get a two score lead, pull him. If we have to, we could reinsert him like we did in his first career start.
They don’t need him against the Jets. That’s the Andy Reid factor. He’s pretty awesome at getting solid QB performance from backups. If it’s a close game at halftime, put Mahomes in there. [Reply]

Bullshit.
They always need him. He's the cornerstone of the team. Sitting him "just because" is a good way to lose a fucking game you have no business losing. [Reply]
And they also predicted KC wins the Super Bowl. This was their weird simulation stuff. Maybe they figured Mahomes would sit out the Jets game, haha. In any event, I would not mind a Jets loss if it means winning Super Bowl. ESPN simulation sounds good to me! [Reply]
