Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I liked Patrick's interview on The Red Zone; basically stating that the big plays aren't sustainable and he can't be expected to make them every time. Regressed? Nah. Teams are playing him and the Chiefs differently. Teams are playing the Chiefs in basically a nickel defense daring the Chiefs to run and they either can't or won't run the ball to make the other team play honest. [Reply]
Darrel Williams isn't even supposed to be out for a pass and somehow Mahomes still sees him in the back of the end zone. Structurally (even with scramble) nothing is supposed to be working back there and he still finds him, running out of real estate and against pressure. pic.twitter.com/sbckbMSEo4

Lol this is ridiculous. Williams is flat on his ass, with a Raider on top of him.
i guarantee you that was a designed play for him. just like i know for a fact, they send kelce on routes designed to get DPI on him. they aren't the primary target, but it's by design. :-) [Reply]
I don't think that play was designed for Williams.
BUT...I think Reid is mad scientist enough that he's going to incorporate bailout options in future plays that take advantage of Mahomes potentially extending a play.
I wanna see a WR cut block a guy and play possum and then just fucking take off deep as Mahomes is scrambling around. That could be fun. [Reply]

Yeah, I don't believe it either. If it was, I'd think the OL (77?) would've yanked him up off the ground and sent him on his route, but he doesn't even look at Williams.
I think Williams somehow decided that he needed to get into the pattern; maybe he was supposed to block/chip and then go into the pattern, I don't know. Either way he did a great job making himself available to Patrick. [Reply]

Like others have mentioned, Schwartz could be sporting an injury. He has a black boot on his right foot? Don't know for sure if that is the case. But it looks as if he has a tough time turning to his right. :-) [Reply]
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes became the fastest player in the NFL's Super Bowl era to 90 career touchdown passes in Monday's road game against the Buffalo Bills.
Mahomes threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce in the first quarter. Monday's game is his 37th. Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino had been the fastest to 90 touchdown passes. He did it in 40 games. [Reply]
