It'll always be the same argument, just further down the rankings this time... do you reward a team like Miami for playing a cupcake schedule and losing two games over an Alabama team that actually played a ranked team or three and actually be a couple of them.
Between Team A or Team B, what's the evidence they could actually compete... that always seems to be the logic.
Of course, Alabama also has two of the worst losses of any team around them or ahead of them, too. [Reply]

Seems like some of the “cupcakes” on Miami’s schedule did damage in the SEC.
Louisville destroyed Kentucky who beat Ole Miss.
Georgia Tech took Georgia to 8 OT’s at Georgia.
And Miami curb stomped Florida at the Swamp.
The committee is rewarding Alabama for beating Georgia.
Fair enough… a win over a top 5 team carries more weight with them than losses.
Because Alabama has more losses and worse losses than Miami.
