But the standards have been lowered so much that to some, I guess it was a good week for him.
ESPN gave him a higher QBR grade against the Niners (80/100) than the Saints (70/100). Two flukey INT’s that were not his fault. Numerous clutch plays on 3rd down and even 4th down. Not sure what game you were watching. [Reply]
The key to beating Baltimore that no one besides Spags and Kelce/Mahomes has seemed to figure out, is that you have to match their intensity and physicality.
Their whole identity is being the bully. If you punch them back they will fold and go crying to their mommy. [Reply]

He played well the lasf couple drives which is really all that matters. [Reply]

Anybody who thinks Mahomes played poorly yesterday didn't actually watch the game and just read the box score. [Reply]

I like how the best defense of Mahomes play is using a stat that ranks him the 12th best QB in the league and behind players like Trevor Lawrence.
I didn't think we'd get to that point and try to defend it instead of saying we should be better than that but here we are. [Reply]

You also have to shut their running game down and keep Lamar which in the pocket, which they also do almost every time as well. [Reply]
