He’s done this before with Sorensen. And Niemann. It was beyond obvious to everyone then, as it is now. But this old stubborn man is too set in his ways. Just watch if this stubbornness ends up costing the Chiefs everything. [Reply]

We just saw Denver get destroyed by Buffalo bc they had smaller speed rushers.
Spags wants versatility, not one dimensional players [Reply]

Spags is married to his system and the guys who fit it. Also because he's old as hell, 65, he has no desire to deal with an athletic freak that makes mental mistakes.
It's how we ended up keeping Teanquill instead of Gay. It's also why he doesn't like Josh Williams because he makes mental mistakes in zone at times Nazeeh does too but I'm guessing he recites things off better in whiteboard meetings than Williams does.

Naz makes tons of mistakes tho.
I do know that Spags loves "brainy" guys that can diagnose plays and are smart an that's great.
But if they are slow, and unathletic or can't get off a block all that means shit.

Yea you don't build an entire line of them, but this idea that you can't get 10-15 snaps out of Josh Uche when it's obvious the other team is throwing is just being stubborn. [Reply]

But I'd really like to know what got Williams in the doghouse.
This is the major reason I think as to why Johnson is getting snaps over Williams and Roland-Wallace. Johnson is also a good tackler. Johnson's completion % against is also really impressive, it's when he allows a catch that isn't because it's usually a deep shot. Nazeeh's best play is as a slot with help over the top. [Reply]
Fucking Nazeeh Johnson got 50% of the defensive snaps and Joshua Williams got 0%. This shit is infuriating and is by far the most annoying fucking shit that Spags does. Nazeeh Johnson is trash and Williams out performed him all fucking season. It was fine against the trash Texans, but it won't be next week. [Reply]

Yeah, don't quite understand it. Williams was absolutely better this year. Something weird about it. [Reply]

Yup. Once Johnson was taken off and Williams replaced him the bleeding stopped. [Reply]

He choose Omenihu who is obviously better. We have 26 sacks in 6 games since Omenihu got back so yeah maybe trust Spags [Reply]

Coaches will always have their favorites. In every sport. Even the best coaches get infatuated with some player who is clearly not the best option. [Reply]
He's done this before at the expense of the team. It's unacceptable. This could legitimately be the reason they end up losing the 3 peat. The margins in these games between good teams is so thin. Think of the Super Bowl last year!
Can you imagine Josh Allen picking on Nazeeh repeatedly on game winning drives. Like the last 2-3 drives of the 13 second game. [Reply]
