Spoiler!
The two big deaths really got me...esp. Lee's. Being a father, they really got me in the feels.
Going to see this tomorrow. The real horror for me is that I'm extremely sensitive to the sounds of other people eating. I've heard the movie is very quiet obviously, so someone working over some Milk Duds/Jujubes in my vicinity could send me over the edge.

The movie looks great though.
I’m going to wait for the early bird/matinee on a weekday just to avoid any of that BS.
I haven’t been this excited for a horror flick in years. [Reply]
I went to see that new Tomb Raider like a week ago and this fucking douche and his girlfriend were literally taking selfies/texting on their phone for the first 20 minutes of the movie.
Luckily I didn’t give a shit about that movie but what a fucking couple of assholes. If that happens during A Quiet Place I will fight a bitch. [Reply]

Agreed. I love how
Spoiler!
they just throw you into that world. they don't try to explain how the creatures got there or any thing of the sort. You just get thrown onto a moving train.
also,
Spoiler!
Maybe it was just me but It was funny to me how...during some points in the movie, it got so intense that it made you feel as though if YOU made any sound, it would jeopardize the family on the screen lol!

Agreed on both...I like how they subtly hinted at the creatures' origins via newspapers (meteors, etc.) but don't smack you in the face with it.
On the second point...OMG I was the same lol. Had a pack of Twizzlers, was trying to be so quiet getting into them.
Also in the scene where Evelyn steps on the nail I was covering my mouth trying to not make a noise as well ha.
I spent the rest of the day, night, and this morning more aware of all the things that create a sound in day to day living. That's pretty impactful for me. It was an ultra high definition, surround anti-sound experience. [Reply]
Saw Red Sparrow on a whim today. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Slow burn of a movie, but it played perfectly. Jennifer Lawrence is hot as balls in this movie, and is not shy about showing it off. Do recommend. [Reply]
