Same thing here.
Brock is not Ryan Mallet. The Chiefs weren't letting up on Brock, they were still blitzing, your guys knew we had to pass the ball at that point and they were teeing off and it didn't faze Brock one bit. I haven't felt so good about a loss in years. [Reply]
Give Brock a week to practice with the first teamers and let's see what happens... @ CHI. Then, after some time off, maybe... maybe Peyton starts vs NE in Denver.
Broncos have had a couple of wakeup calls, it will be interesting to see how they rally.
The defense owns this rally... Brock honestly can't do worse than 9 TDs and 17 INTs down the stretch, so why not roll with him at this point. At least he's somewhat more mobile and might actually run what Kubiak wants to run.
I've been bracing myself for the end with Manning for a while, so if this is it... so be it. I think he he has a few good games left in him, but the guy is beat up and it really shows.
Denver should keep their eyes on Kirk Cousins in the off-season... I believe he's a FA and from what little I've seen, could be an interesting consideration. [Reply]

Exactly - makes no difference. Its the ONLY thing they have to grab on to because they were so totally dominated. Brock came in at 22-0 and didn't do shit till it was 29-0. Give a team time to prepare for that big goof and it's over. They're all fixing to find out just how over...:-) [Reply]

It's a peculiar position to be in at this point. Are they a legit 7-2 right now? Maybe not, but that's their record.
Thanks to what's happening in the AFC South, Denver is almost assured that #3 seed, even if they go .500 the rest of the way.
KC and OAK are 4-5, 3 games behind Denver with 7 games left.
So, yeah Denver could still lose the Division, but it's going to take both a monumental collapse by Denver and a running of the table by either OAK or KC.
If Denver is honest with themselves, they say ok... we have a good cushion and we play two undefeated teams coming up that sit ahead of us in the playoff breakdown. Let's give Brock a run, let him drive this thing and see what happens... because one way or another, after 2 months, Manning may not be 50% of his former self to play.
Suck it up, realize you have some room for error as you give Brock experience and work through the transition and hope for the best. [Reply]
