Originally, after I did the burnouts and ran her hard after the 5000 mile break in period. The back tires couldn't be rotated. I put on a set that were soft and I knew would go through fast. Then I could get a whole new set and then rotate them as needed.
Can you fit wider on the rear? Figured with the stock HP you have would have been wider than 245.
Basically performance tires wear somewhat quick and not much you can do about it since that is one of the drawbacks of grip. [Reply]

The Nittos are definitely not as soft as the ET's I was just looking to get better mileage out of them since the ET's didn't hook that great either on the street. I only got to make one trip to the track and only got to make 1 half track pass on the and ET's and it launched pretty well (I missed the 2nd to 3rd shift). People kept breaking and oiling the track constantly so it was a wasted night.
When I get my bigger wheel combo I am going to go with more of a traditional street tire like the G-Force or something and keep a spare set of back wheels with some ET's on them for track days. [Reply]

I fit 305's on my Hellcat but I had to use a heat gun to massage the inner fender liner. Also had to relocate two retaining clips via a drill. [Reply]

Seems so odd to me that a 500HP car wouldn't come with wider rear tires standard? And surprised whoever you are taking your car to didn't bother to mention the performance benefits of bigger rear tires.
Not to mention I think the staggered stance on a RWD muscle car looks better anyway. [Reply]
