I was wrong on that.
BUT, Hunt was given an opportunity to play because of injury. Henderson wasn't given a shot until week 17 and he had a 30 yard TD in that game. [Reply]

People thought similar things about the Chiefs last year and then Ware got hurt. A lot of people have been saying that Royce could be the next Kareem Hunt. We're about to find out. [Reply]

He punishes defenders in the hole, yet flashes enough wiggle and burst to create explosive plays in the open field. Despite posting middling statistics as a pass catcher at Oregon, Freeman's sticky hands and underrated route-running skills could make him a viable option in the passing game. As a true three-down back with the size, speed, and athleticism to deliver big plays as a runner or receiver, Freeman could quickly emerge as the Broncos' No. 1 offensive weapon as a rookie.
Royce Freeman could be this year's Kareem Hunt. High mileage logged at Oregon, but will be plugged in as workhorse right away. Big bodied rusher. Excellent vision. Useful hands. Sharp footwork. Ranked No. 11 elusive rating with Oregon last year. #NFLDraft

Uhh... no. Nobody thought similar things. At all.
Maybe YOU did. But nobody else thought that.
Since joining the Chiefs, Ware has never dipped below 4.3 YPC. Booker has never gotten above 3.8
Ware isn't the best back, but he WAS thought by people around the league to be a reasonable starting RB. NOBODY in the NFL thinks Booker can bring Denver's running game back to a respectable level. Nobody except you and homer Donk fans, that is. [Reply]
