I put this set on it yesterday, BF Goodrich G-Force 2 245/45ZR20 after asking on some hellcat boards. They are rated for 186 mph.
Originally, after I did the burnouts and ran her hard after the 5000 mile break in period. The back tires couldn't be rotated. I put on a set that were soft and I knew would go through fast. Then I could get a whole new set and then rotate them as needed. [Reply]

Driving style, compound, shitty roads. How exactly did they go bad? [Reply]

tread wear. Dealer is telling me because of the high rated speed tires I put on it are "soft", they wear out fast. Kind of the same thing Sauto said. [Reply]

What brand were the ones that wore out fast? [Reply]
I put on Nitto Invo tires (picture of tread below) when I bought the car. 12k miles later and I bet I can get to 20-25k out of them. Seem to wear well and have a softish feel without being so soft you burn through them in 5k miles but not hard enough to make the ride feel shitty. Tread pattern is made for rain traction as well which is perfect for Phoenix since I daily drive my car.
I run size 245 on front and 275 on back so I can only rotate side to side.

That's what I put on my Hellcat. The rears were pretty much done by the time I traded the car in. It had just over 2k on it. That car sure was fun, lol. [Reply]

Tomorrow night the car is going to drive. Basically just going to do the segment swap (change ECU to be able to control the 4l80) tune on it a little and let it rip.
Exhaust shop Wednesday with more tuning and car should be ready to break the ten bolt real quick~

Part of that is you also put down 500 hp on 245 tires. I took the stock tires off after 400 miles or so and put 275s all around. I can still break it free if I want, but I don't get as much unintended slippage. I'm also rotating at 5-6k miles with every oil change. [Reply]
I know alot of you guys arent exactly into imports, but this thing is tremendous fun. Awd cuts through the snow better than anything i have ever owned. Its getting a couple more boltons this weekend and a fresh tune. Cant wait to let it rip.

I love the new challenger. Im not one of those types of people that only likes one type of car like some are. I came very close to trading in the wrx for a focus rs, but all in all i love this car. I also have an 87 monte carlo ss thats kind of in a mini rebuild phase. That thing is no good for new england winters though. Haha
