Are we talking Westbrook today or Westbrook of 8 years ago? Because one version was very good (just like Dickinson) and one very much isn’t.
I don’t even particularly like watching him play but the slander he gets when he’s basically their only player who shows up consistently isn’t called for.
If you put him on the 2022 championship team instead of McCormack with those guards (and no KJ playing 80% of the minutes around him), the guy would absolutely have been beloved (and KU would have been far better).

Come on gang, to be fair here, the players, mainly the newbies have not been consistent! They are too hot or cold and do not turn up the defense as HCBS likes from his players.
I do see a lot of talent to work with here, the experience should be paying dividends by now. AJ Storr has been a major disappointment IMHO. If Griffin can get hot, get more consistent play from Zeke, play Flory more, get everybody's heads out of their ass's, stop turning the ball over, hit your damn FT's, and hustle for loose balls & rebounds, they will be a HARD OUT for anybody.
But we have what we have because of the inconsistent play!
