I would try harder to get Ramsey. It won’t happen but theoretically he’s a blue chipper and those are hard to get, especially drafting late where the chiefs will be

Xavier Rhodes has cap hits of

14.1

The next 3 seasons and has dead money (that Minnesota would payin cap dollars, not KC) of 7.2m

Meaning his cap hits to KC would only be his roster bonuses and base salaries.

2019: 6.2m
2020: 8.1m
2021: 11.75m

Getting him that kind of money is DEFINETELY worth a 2nd or maybe even a first rounder.

I don’t see the draft falling favourably for the Chiefs in regards to obtaining an elite corner. I’m convinced they will attempt to trade for one as the FA options are poor. Rhodes makes a lot of sense and the $ is reasonable. I do think the Chiefs have to pony up both their 2nd rounders though....

Ramsey is a longshot and would cost the farm and Peterson wants to stay in Arizona.
