I will definitely check it out. I've never heard of it before you mentioned it though.

Was honestly surprised at just how good it was, led by 3 very good young actresses... the youngest who plays Kat is literally scary good

Its a legit bloody horror movie... its one of those that, halfway through you're wondering if google will have to explain the ending for you

Yet it brings it perfectly all together at the diabolical and twisted end, loved it

This. Just got done watching it. It was predictable and a bit silly, but very entertaining. Kind of Bourne-ish, but I liked the characters a lot more.

I, Tonya was really good / well made. Margot Robbie continues to impress me.

Just got back from Darkest Hour. Really good flick. Oldman is amazing as Churchill. I also saw it with my English friend - he understandably loved it.

Blind bought Brawl in Cell Block 99 with some Xmas money I got and holy crap, it was outstanding. Very brutal & violent. Vince Vaughn really brought it strong in this one and I highly recommend it if you don't mind excessive violence (seriously , I mean it lol. Vaughn's character is cracking open heads in this film)

The director is someone to keep an eye on. He also directed Bone Tomahawk which was great too.

I've never seen Bone Tomahawk but that scene where they scalp the dude, hammer it onto the roof of his mouth, then split him in half by the balls makes me cringe every time.

:-) Uh, yeah. I see your point.

Generally I'm not fazed by gore, though.

Just watched Goon: Last of the Enforcers on Netflix over the weekend, almost as great as the first one. Ended up watching the original afterwards. lol

still got me a wad of hate stashed back for later. :-)

Cell Block 99 was pretty entertaining. Starts off slow, but eventually picks up. Some of the scenes and acting were pretty cheesy, but in a humorous way. Pretty damn violent as well. You gotta watch it.

Movies for me are sometimes enjoyable or not based on my mood. If I'm in a good, attentive, mellow mood, I can enjoy a lot of movies. Unfortunately that rarely happens so I find 95% of what I watch to be a crusty piece of dog shit.
