Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Agreed. He was just at Deiter's wedding the other day so he's seen his friends getting it done. And yet even after eight years and living with the chick for at least three years he still isn't sure? :-)
I can't blame him tbh...he wouldn't be human if he wasn't thinking about what could be out there for him IF he were a single guy. If he was I think he could bag himself a very high profile chick tbh..just like Russell and Brady. [Reply]

Exactly. There aren’t many guys that would wait 8 years if they’re truly sprung. I’m not knocking him at all...hell I think it’s a big testament to his character that he’s still with her. I’m just making an observation that’s none of my business.
Random memory, but I remember after one of his earliest games, maybe the 2nd game of 2018 or so against the 49ers, my wife asked me how the game went. I distinctly remember pausing a moment to gather myself, and then saying, "This guy is different. This is not something we've ever seen before." And my goodness, I was right. It's amazing how our fortunes changed. [Reply]
I knew as soon as he hit that wheel route to Sherman vs. San Diego in the season opener. The 3rd and 13 to Tyreek almost did it, and the beautiful touch pass to Sherman sealed it.
Those were always the spots where we'd falter in the past and let the other team back in it. We could never put our foot on their necks. 3rd and longs took a miracle to pull off. I knew after that drive that all the potential, the stories from practice, and all the flashes in preseason and the Denver game were real.
40+ years of wandering in the desert looking for a QB were over. I literally started tearing up. Several others also posted they were crying in the gameday thread at the same time. [Reply]
