This thought went through my head watching some Chiefs games this morning.

I think there was a lot of discussion last offseason about Mahomes int’s going up in 2019. I know regression was like the number one topic in regards to Mahomes.

His interception % went down from 2.1% in 2018 to 1.0% in 2019.

What should our expectations be in 2020?

I think it depends on what the team needs him to do.

If we find ourselves in shootouts, he will approach 50 TDs and 15 INTs. If we manage games and the defense shows up, look for 30-35 TDs and 8-9 INTs.

I've never really seen a QB like him, who can play the game differently depending on the situation.
