Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

Yeah, so I tried the Angel's Envy Rye today... great aroma to it, but didn't really carry over to the flavor. Tried the barrel proof Elijah Craig and it was good, but not amazing.
I need more of that toasted barrel Elijah Craig.... I might have ruined myself with that one. [Reply]
Angel's Envy Rye... I could see it being too sweet for some, but it's fucking delicious. Had a little Elijah Craig Rye first, which made the Angel's Envy even better (the EC was great, too). [Reply]
Is it lame to drink makers? I picked up a bottle at costco since it’s been a while, and they got rid of the cork top for a screw cap. Easy drinking… [Reply]

I browse reddit for reviews and what not and Maker's seems like a go-to... seems like it's pretty popular among even bourbon snobs. [Reply]

Definitely no. Makers is a solid wheater. Very easy to drink for most people and it's a good product. I recommend their cask strength though. [Reply]

Its always been too expensive for what it is. Screwtop fits it perfectly now price it right as a daily drinker mixer. It's not better than Wild Turkey and barely above Evan Williams Black.
Cask strength is a whole different animal. It showed up in these parts then disappeared though. I hate that about some bourbons, but I suppose that's why it's good.
Same with Stag could find it here in just about any liquor store then the snobs got wind and ruined it for everyone. [Reply]

Looks like they could be similar. Private Selection being the wood finishes the retailer/consumer selects and the Wood Finished Series is Makers selections. IDK.
