All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?
My fiance wanted to watch it, so we started last night. I can't get past the terrible acting. Super cool interesting concept, but atrocious acting so far. [Reply]
I've read so many good things, but it looks like it is so old. Like filmed in the 80s kind of old. What's up with that?
Are you actually watching it or just looking at some trailers? I started rewatching it recently and thought it has held up fairly well. The only thing I noticed is they would use a small amount of people to try and make it look like they had an army or a large crowd. Just something that stuck out the last time I watched it. [Reply]

I'm watching the show. It's supposed to be a really high budget TV show, but it just looks like something filmed in the 80s or maybe even earlier. I'm not doing a very good job of describing what I mean. [Reply]

I don't mind the acting at all.
Mostly because the concept of the show feels different and fresh to me.
I loved S1, S2 was fine, and I'm hopeful S3 is better. [Reply]

I get it. I understand how that can be off-putting. 100%. It's good even in spite of that. Just takes time to work through it and appreciate everything but the datedness. [Reply]
I'll do the favor that someone did for me by suggesting Banshee. It's on Max and lasted 4 seasons from 2013-2016. It has a fair amount of violence, sex, and nudity so not for children. [Reply]
