They are good and tough, noon game at Arrowhead. Your thoughts?

The odds are MUCH better playing 1 less game in the playoffs.

The #1 seed gives them by far the best chance to win the Super Bowl.

Not to mention if we win these next two games that is literally the equivalent of winning a playoff game.

I'd rather eliminate the risk.
And Wentz could go out there and suck, just like he has for the better part of 4 years. The Chiefs lose, lose the #1 seed, and Pat still isn't right.

Losing a wildcard weekend game would be the ultimate disservice to a team that controls whether or not they even play that game.

If you think the opportunity to rest for two weeks and play every playoff game in Arrowhead is meaningless, I don't know what to tell you.

No bone or ligament issue. Just a mild sore ankle that will likely feel better by Saturday.

They can take precautions by wrapping his ankle and even putting an ankle brace if needed.

This is not a big deal my God

Cowards, the lot of you.

So afraid of losing a regular season game (and the precious #1 seed) that you'd put our entire season in harms way just to win it.

I can only hope those who are making the decision see reason in the end.

Tell me what Vegas is saying an hour before kickoff.
I already put $ on KC while the line is Houston -2.

Vegas doesn't care as long as they get the money evenly split, they are clearly trying to get people to bet KC who hasn't been covering the spread all year.

By Saturday the spread will be KC +2 or so is my guess unless they announce Pat is out.

But if they play Mahomes, he's going to die. They're never goung to win the Super Bowl if they don't sit him against the Texans.

Projection is rich. The lack of self-awareness is palpable.

His health is much more important than this team's seeding.

Obviously not given he played better on a bum ankle to win a Super Bowl than he did last season.

Right. He said he'd play yesterday if necessary. So, yeah, probably going to be playing Saturday.

Two games in four days with a high ankle sprain… not a big deal.

Anything can happen at any point of any game.

IF he were to aggravate the injury vs the Texans, wouldn't that be better than doing it in a wildcard playoff game that didn't even have to take place?

What do you mean "if"?

Haven't you heard? He's gonna get hurt if he plays.
