Why would you kick it now? This is horrible clock management. At least take a 3rd down shot and try to draw a flag. You have to recover an onside kick either way. [Reply]
Now, maybe if they actually learned something and weren't running Lamar into the ground, yet again, I might feel differently. But no, they haven't. He's still averaging about 10 rushing attempts per game like he always has and is going to be broken down and ineffective in the postseason like he always is. Hell, wasn't Lamar whinging about it before the season opener? [Reply]
If the Texans had kicked it at 1:30, they’d have been able to get the ball back with approximately 40 seconds left (2 timeouts) even without a successful onside kick.

Their offense probably is more dynamic with Henry and their WR group, but Lamar is still a huge question mark obviously but the even bigger problem is their defense has not been very good. Even with an elite offense if you pair it with a low ranked defense it usually burns you in the playoffs. [Reply]

I’m as much of a Lamar disrespecter as anyone, but if that’s your definition of contender then it’s just the Chiefs. And I don’t necessarily disagree.
I guess maybe you’d throw the Bills in there, but Josh Allen’s 5-5 postseason record with 3 losses to the Chiefs doesn’t inspire much more confidence.
Both are 0-1 in the AFCCG. Allen’s loss was much more of a beat down too.
Texans haven’t done shit. Bengals are out of it. This version of the Steelers has done nothing. No one else is worth mentioning. [Reply]

I guess we get to watch them crash and burn in prime time. [Reply]

They've still got the Chiefs and Ravens too.
Only thing is I really think they'll be a different offense with Nico Collins back. [Reply]

Texans will still have a hard time not winning the division. After watching what I just did though they're just nothing to worry about. Nico will make a little difference but that team isn't a contender. [Reply]
