#Chargers Rashawn Slater - Pec for OL = heavily involved in blocking. High risk of missing Wk 4

#Chargers Joe Alt - Ankle. O-line often able to play the next wk but severity varies. Prob MRI pending

#NFL Injury Updates:#Lions Sam LaPorta - Video suggests low ankle. X-ray + returning = no fracture. Lean towards playing Wk 4. Practice = key#Chargers Justin Herbert - High ankle re-aggravation. Walking w/full weight = no fracture. Lean towards playing Wk 4. MRI Mon

Like I said, by Red Dawg's logic, KC was at a massive disadvantage at QB in every matchup with Brady.
Do you think Harbaugh is better than Doug Pederson?

I said that I wasn't sure there's a massive coaching advantage, and he responded with:

I don’t see the difference between the two coaches.

One guy coached college. The other spent years as an assistant in the NFL. That’s it.

I’d actually rather have Pederson. What Harbaugh is doing to Herbert is quite alarming

Let's put it this way...would anyone be saying that we have a massive or clear coaching advantage this weekend if it were Harbaugh that drafted Mahomes instead of Reid?

Pretty sure they'd be saying the opposite. Just like they said about Belichick until Mahomes came along.

So, essentially, coaching advantages don't exist? Because each coach has varying circumstances? If this was still the Alex Smith Chiefs we would have a clear coaching advantage. Andy Reid was already one of the greatest regular season coaches of all time. Harbaugh has proven to be a good coach, but at best he's around Gruden level right now. He might climb those ranks over the next decade or so, but that's pure speculation. No one outside of a Chargers or Michigan board would make the argument you're making.

Herbert is expected to play.

Clay is nervous now. Definitely not winning by double digits lol

#Chargers QB Justin Herbert is expected to start again this week against the #Chiefs, barring a pregame setback with his high-ankle sprain, per me, @TomPelissero and @MikeGarafolo.

LAC will be short-handed with several big names out. But Herbert likely plays if all goes well. pic.twitter.com/RiPoE2rw7z

I don't think Harbaugh would be the right coach for Mahomes, though. Look at how he cut the nuts off Herbert. And I don't think he'd get along well in this organization, either. Can you honestly see him being able to accept or work in a 50/50 power dynamic between head coach and GM?

Harbaugh shouldn't have his ass crowned just yet. He had a good thing going in SF and flushed it all down the toilet. What's to stop him from throwing a hissy fit again and managing to get canned in a few years?

This isn't about counting age, experience, and rings, either. There are a handful of coaches in the league not named Andy Reid who I think are pretty damn good at their jobs and wouldn't be that much of a downgrade from Reid. Harbaugh still has shit to prove before I put him on that list, particularly in his first year with his new team and his first year back in the pro ranks.
Surely you dint think it is 50/50 between Reid and Veach?

It would be so Chargery to play Herbert and lose him for 4-6 weeks.

You should try following your own advice sometime:
