Do the Dolphins wanna trade Waddle? I don't kno who else might be out there on the block, but the possibility of a 3 peat being there, you gotta be aggressive in the situation we're in.
Plus you need WR's next year as well.
Nobody wants what will be a 30plus first round pick. That's not really even a first round talent and everybody knows it. The only chance is a salary dump and we don't really have room for that.
I don't think there's a big name on the way. [Reply]

Toney and Moore flopped. We HAD to get younger and cheaper and it was a risk. Rice worked out, but now he's out. Brown may never play a down in KC. At least Worthy looks...worthy.
We've grown our own on defense, and we have to grow our own on offense, too. Sometimes it won't go as hoped, but that's part of the deal.
Nobody did anything to Mahomes. They tried to draft and sign him weapons, a couple didn't pan out, and a couple are injured. It's the NFL. Shit happens.
“Nobody did anything to mahomes.”
Two years ago we made drastic cuts of necessity. I applauded the decision and still do. But it was year 1 of dialing mahomes back into an efficient qb. This year we made good moves but got hit with injuries but veach bringing in 2 speed guys was an obvious recognition that we need to open up the offense up. Just really bad luck. But Year 2 was a mistake. Not a “shit happens” thing.
We ****ed up mahomes, it is not a matter of toughening him up and just telling him to deal with it. The reason he is afraid to throw deep is because every time he did it burned him. It killed drives and led to INTs. The reason he developed tunnel vision is because in the final stretch he found that giving kelce and rice 100 targets a game was the only way to survive. The reason he’s become a check down artist is because it’s easier to avoid mistakes.
So yeah after all that it’s weird that you, who apologized profusely until the very very end for bad wr play, insist that we should do nothing at wr because everything is going to be just fine and work itself out naturally. We probably will power through this but we need to give mahomes help if we can because we have to un**** his bad habits and have him learn to trust again. This isn’t 2 years ago. Mahomes can only break out of this by rediscovering his aggressiveness and by trusting his WRs again.
You think you’re playing the role of good fan. But you are opening the floodgate to mahomes getting bashed left and right the next few months because of this narrative I hoped would have died on a vine that shit happens and leaders should just deal with it. That mahomes at his contract should carry the pass offense on his back. That he is so transcendent of a talent that he doesnt need a little help sometimes. Mahomes needs a little extra help right now. Just because he can lean into the wrong habits to power through this doesn’t mean we should if we can avoid it [Reply]

Guys have agency.
He's had weapons, elite defenses, elite OL's etc.
The reason we did what we did was because of his salary. They figured they could build a defense and he could carry and develop some younger and less experience offensive players.
Apparently you are saying he can't, so we're gonna have to go a different direction. [Reply]
A bandaid is the most likely option. And it’s fine because biggest thing we need is a guy to get us through the year. So who cares if it’s a 1 year rental.
The browns are now semi officially in tank mode. The titans will probably move on from dhop and would rather get some value back. These are actually realistic options. Diontae is in a contract year although I suspect Carolina will want him back.
And as I’ve said before DRob is not the worst option. At least he creates something new for the offense which is helping mahomes out in scramble drill. [Reply]
