A lot of the rehab guys were suggesting way back when that surgery isn't necessary but it could reduce risk of reinjury. Any surgery would probably be pretty minor. [Reply]
They'll do another MRI as a kind of preventative measure. It's an expensive check under the hood. As long as they don't see anything new, or that has gotten worse, no one is going to suggest that they go into Pat's knee with a sharp object. If he came out of that worse than how he went in . . . Whether the dislocated kneecap gave him a fat-pad impingement would be the only thing I could think of that they'd need to "clear up" in surgery. [Reply]
