I would still prefer that scenario, but it didn't happen. I don't think Keenum is an elite QB, he's probably a top 10-12 QB if what we saw last year wasn't a fluke. He's right around the Smith/Cousins/Dak/2015 Andy Dalton area. [Reply]

I've been trying to remember if I've ever seen a career backup get put into a starting role due to injury and the loaded team he is on carries him to a huge contract from a new team. Then he goes to unloaded team and sucks again.
Cause the wins are what everyone looks at, not the playmaking ability, the pedestrian stats, or the way this QB's sorry arm strength and lack of playmaking ability will carry over to a bad team.
