Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Mahomes has had 16 starts this season counting the two playoff games. He's passed for 4646 yards and thrown 34 TDs. For a 16 game season this year he'd be 3rd in yards and 1st in TDs. Just another way to look at his stats. Just saying. [Reply]

Weird, he came up first in all the stats I checked.
It's pretty awesome, I just hope it's not a jinx situation. How long can the 0 INT streak keep going? Sure as hell hope he can keep it going through this Super Bowl game at least! [Reply]

granted i don't have as much time to watch interviews and such, plus different time zones and all, but....
has mahomes dad dropped off as far as coverage and interviews. maybe i have just missed those occasions. do they show him in the suite like they used to? if so, why do you think that is? :-)

BTW: does this look familiar?
He’s not LaVar Ball. He doesn’t make it about him. He’s been interviewed a couple times over the course of the season but how many times can you interview someone’s dad unless that dad is making it about them(hence the Ball reference). I’m sure you’ll see a shot of him at the SB. [Reply]

The story about him being the son of a major leaguer was a great origin story. Now Mahomes has begun writing his own legacy, and that is a much better story. [Reply]

No surprise that Mahomes makes the Super Bowl and prices are soaring to the highest ever.
NFL gonna do everything they can to get Pat to as many of these as possible.
I'm very curious to see how the refs call this game. They were pretty strict on the Texans and Titans with pass interference/defensive holding. Will they allow the 49ers to do the type of grabbing you would expect from an old school physical team? Or will they throw the flags like they did in the Houston/Tennessee games? Could have a big impact on the game depending on how the refs approach it. [Reply]
I'm honestly shocked by how many fans of other teams I've met in the last week who say they love Mahomes and are rooting for the Chiefs. Not just saying "Hey, you guys have a good quarterback, good luck in the SB" it's more like "Man, I'm a Vikings fan but I LOVE Mahomes I hope he kicks the 9ers ass in the SB".

It's surreal. And awesome.
Yep, the whole country is excited to have some fresh blood in the big game. From what I'm hearing, this should be one of the most watched Superbowls in recent history. I pray we don't lay an egg and embarrass ourselves because Chiefs. [Reply]
