I started the winning game day thread the next week after we lost the Bills game last year
I'm here again to start a new beginning, to bring home that 3peat. If I win, I'll continue to start the threads until Clay is ready to bring them home. [Reply]

People will bring up Watson's injury and that's fair, but we're probably the league's healthiest defense right now. I don't buy that excuse. Jones, Bolton, Reid, McDuffie all need to play better.
They have the personnel and the coaching so it's fixable.
I personally think it is because we have no pass rush. QB's are way to comfortable back there. [Reply]

Nah, Bryce Young was a accurate as I've seen a QB this year. He was throwing dimes or getting the ball off under pressure to extend 3-4 drives. He played great, that shit happens, especially when you are playing 80% in the reg. season. [Reply]
I'm old enough to remember the Chiefs losing to the Raiders on Christmas last year and thinking the season was over - too many holes on the team for them to make a run in the playoffs. [Reply]

Playing at 100% and being able to rest starters during games would bode better for the vets on this team.
Like DJ has said when you play 75-80 or whatever percent, all you're doing is adding more snaps to your body, more hits, and making yourself more susceptible to injuries. It would be a dumb strategy if that's what they're doing purposefully. [Reply]
The offense started much sharper but the defense could not get off the field sending max pressures that didn't arrive fast enough and Bryce Young had a game. [Reply]

I wouldn't worry, but it shouldn't be acceptable.
We literally do this every season.
Have to hope in the cosmic scheme of things it had to happen to make us better down the road and this close win will help lead to post-season victories... [Reply]
