Nah, I remember Elway as he was, often shitty and rattled for most of an afternoon, but if he got to the last 6-8 minutes of the game with his team within 3-13 of winning, he turned on a switch to pull out some demoralizing shit.

‘Talking’ heads’ exist to have contrasting opinions just to further discussion. If every one on a show says, yep Mahomes is the best next topic, they would barely fill up air time.
Also, downplaying Mahomes a bit also gives solace to fans of teams such as the Ravens, Texans, Packers etc who believe there is a legitimate case to be made for their guy to be the best.
All in all, I can assure you that whoever has any basic knowledge of the sport knows Mahomes is a master of his craft and blessed with unforeseen talent. [Reply]
