Vance Joseph: “I’ve been proud of Chad overall. He’s been here every day and he’s transformed his body... Last year he was a little tubby kid (laughs).”

Chad Kelly struggled in college after halftime in big games when DC’s would make adjustments. He was terrible (2 of 12) throwing the ball down the field on the left side. Also threw a ton of INT’s when throwing to his left. He’s an idiot with serious flaws in his game. Bad combination. [Reply]

The Chargers have no tape of this new offense or Mahomes running it. That’s a strong advantage for us in the opener.
We’re gonna sweep them again, they should also win prob 10-11 games. Of course, they won’t, and everyone will wonder why they lost as many games as they did. [Reply]
I don't get the narrative that the Chargers have more talent or are better than the Chiefs, unless it is purely based on Rivers > Mahomes, which has merits at this point as Rivers is proven and Mahomes is not.
I believe the Chiefs offense roster is a bit better than the Chergers'.
The defenses are pretty much a push going into next year. I like the Chiefs' front 7 better but like SD's secondary better.
I guess one could argue the SD's defense is better by a hair but really there is not much difference IMO on paper at least. [Reply]
