I’m going to be honest. I’m from South Florida, I literally grew up with as many black friends as white/Hispanic like myself. I’m not that guy saying I have one black friend. I have A LOT of black friends.
That being said, all of the divisive shit that’s going on in our society has really brought out the racism in black people. Both sides really, but white racists have never been shy about their racism. [Reply]
It IS a big deal on Twitter atm. Sometimes these things blow over in 24 hours, sometimes not, we'll just have to see.
As a teacher, I tell my kids that it shouldn't matter, but what they post on social media absolutely still does matter and the decisions they make now (some of them are 13) can impact their future.
The wild thing is that if you talk to any adult, they all are thankful social media wasn't around during their teenage years, but some don't give that understanding to kids today. [Reply]
