Men’s college basketball is like that, but there really aren’t a lot of elite women’s basketball players to end their college careers without a ring. Jackie Stiles and Kelsey Plum are really the only ones that comes to mind. Clark chose a similar path as Stiles and Plum for sure. Great talent that chose a small school without the elite pedigree as some of the others. This is a large reason why they are all top 5 leading scorers in the NCAA because they didn’t have the supporting cast to share production with. I think Brittney Griner is the only player to be top 10 in scoring to actually win a title. Sheryl Swoopes is the only player in mind to actually carry her team to a title pretty much single handedly that I can think of as well. [Reply]
With her performance tonight, A’ja Wilson has tied Diana Taurasi (13) for the longest streak of 20+ PT games in WNBA History #WelcometotheWpic.twitter.com/UCqP1VWz8l

You on the other hand are using rings as a measuring stick. Difference is your argument was foolish, flawed, and easily exposed.
I don’t hate or even dislike Reese. She’s a great player who did nothing her first two years in college, transferred to a more talented team with a HOF HC, won a championship and didn’t even make the championship game after. Clark accomplished far more with less talent around her in college and the jury is still out on whether that will translate to the WNBA.
Actually this is bs. Reese and Clark played eachother for a ring. So they faced off on the big stage and one beating the other had a direct impact on their own legacies. And your assumption that Reese was on some "all world team" is nonsense. Lsu were far from the favourites to win the championship that year themselves and were close to going out during that run. She's by far the best player in the league and it's great to see her dominance is finally being given the praise it deserves.
Anyway Clark went off tonight with seven three's for 30 points as Indiana and Washington played "the Paige Bowl" with them being the two worst teams in the league. You could see the confidence was flowing when she hit her third three and after that Washington were in trouble. Though tbf they did rally through the storm and took the game right to the end.
Another eight turnovers by Clark wasn't good though which is the fourth time she's had seven plus giveaways in a game.
All in all it was a step in the right direction for Clark so we'll see if she can keep this offensive output going. [Reply]

That's the same Mystics team your Sky-Town team played a couple of nights ago and you raved about your gals 29% effort from the floor. [Reply]
And now the USA has chosen not to include Caitlin clark on the Olympics. They continue to drop the bag on this. She of course should not and would not play, and she doesn’t need to. But for a team that’s a sure thing for gold medal why wouldn’t you include her to keep the interest going? I think the wnba legit thinks the ratings bonanza will continue but it’s probably not gonna happen without her there. [Reply]
