NewChief 06:18 AM 04-24-2010
Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).

(CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"?

How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

Orval is great. Along with Chimay, Duvel etc....

Belgians know how to make beer, period.

I think Sofie is gross, It's like drinking champagne with all of that carb.
Haven't had Matilda, but I do like most of the Goose Island beers I've had.

That's a point in favor with me. Give me all of the dry, fully attenuated beers.

Picked some up knowing nothing about it. Probably won't crack it until later.
Meh. Not terrible, but won't buy it again.

Tried it yesterday and thought the same thing... probably the most plain/uninteresting Boulevard I've tried, in the same ballpark as a light lager.

I took what I had left to our neighborhood picnic and enjoyed it more in an outdoor, out of the bottle kind of way, but not at $10 a 6er.

If you like that, try Founders All Day IPA if you can find it. My favorite session IPA so far.

Pop Up is my second favorite.

Love them both. We were getting the 15 packs of All Day in cans for like $15 bucks around here. That was awesome. Now you can't find the stuff.
