According to the Sulphur Daily News, Heather Daughdrill initiated the relationship in June and it continued until a complaint was filed in October. After her arrest on November 29, police told the paper that Daughdrill would pick her victim up from school without his parents' knowledge and subject him to sexual encounters. Louisiana cops also reportedly found sexually explicit texts between Daughdrill and her victim.
Fresh out of college and 21-30? You get to work Preschool - 5th grade.
30-40? You get to work 6th-8th.
Over 40? You get the highschool kids.

I like that, except one of my favorite coaches in HS was only about 25 (he also taught government, etc.). He got fired when he was caught after hours in a college dorm with a former female student (who was of legal age by this time). Lots of HS teachers start teaching right out of college, most have the common sense not to mess around with a student until they are of legal age, and graduated (because even if they are of legal age and not yet graduated, there are some legal issues there, just not as serious).
