If we get a new guy then great. If only MVS returns then fine. If nothing happens then I'll keep faith that the club know what they're doing.
How was what I said disproven? I simply went back an checked the gamelogs, and shocker, JJSS had two decent games after the JAX game, and the rest of his games were 2-3 catches/30 yds 0 TDs until the SB. Those are the facts. We all had several conversations about this when it happened, because everyone noticed JuJu wasn't doing much in the 2nd half of the season, did we not?
Iirc, the prevailing theory was that JuJu was hampered by his 'injury' from the JAX game. Except that was a concussion, for which he sat for a week, then was cleared to play. In November. So he either had one of the longest recoveries from a concussion in league history, or he simply became less effective in the 2nd half of the season.
whatever. Out of 10 possible games to close out the '22 season, he averaged 3 catches/gm for an average of about 30-35 yds/game and 0 TDs in 7 of them. Actually, to be precise, he only scored 1 TD in 10 games. ZERO TDs in the playoffs. Those are the facts, no? [Reply]

You said "he fell asleep after the Jags game" which was a lie. So your point was disproven. Also concussions can effect players differently. Malik Nabers got one three weeks ago and still hasn't been cleared to play.
Bottom line is Juju is not some old man playing out his last year or so. He's 27 years old who has great chemistry with Pat, knows the system and has helped us win a superbowl with a very good game on the biggest stage. So writing him off as if he's a jag is ridiculous imo. [Reply]

Better than years past, yes... he's averaging 26.7 per right now
But as for offense he has four catches on four targets for 33 yards, and no rushing attempts... seems like Andy could bump that up just a little bit, speed still kills [Reply]

Wasn't he injured in the playoffs? He had a great SB though. Without him we don't win that game. [Reply]

ya but that story about seeing Weiss at a local best buy and asking about the draft and Weiss giving a wink and whispering "quarterback" and we all just knew we were getting Jimmy Clausen is a story to be remembered. [Reply]
